Thomas Gokey realized that he was an artist in grade school when he could draw noses that looked like noses while everyone else just drew check marks on faces.

In first grade he was simultaneously identified as a “high potential” student and enrolled in the remedial reading curriculum known as “Title 1” in Minnesota.

Interesting things he has done include living in grass huts with a tribe in New Guinea, seeing two naked nuns (one of them was Mother Teresa) getting struck by lightning, and authoring the internationally famous “Poopsicle Story.”

His work deals with the overthrow of global capitalism and the protection of democracy through non-violent methods and the purity of true love.
